Page/Plant at Great Woods 7/14/1998

Thanks to WZLX in Boston, I was lucky enough to win second row tickets to see Jimmy Page and Robert Plant at Great Woods (in Mansfield, Massachusetts) on July 14th, 1998. This show also happened to be on my (fellow Zep freak) wife's birthday. What follows are some pictures that I took to document the event.

It all started with the phone call that May 28th morning. The "Big Mattress" show was being hosted by Barry Nolan (from TV's "Hard Copy") while the regular DJ, Charles Laquidara was vacationing. My wife managed to throw a cassette in and tape this historic event.

When I picked up the tickets, I was fortunate enough to meet Carter Allen (the noon time DJ), who was getting ready to interview The Moody Blues that day.
